Medical Goods, Inc. Minority Nursing Student Scholarship

Medical Goods, Inc. is proud to announce that it will be awarding one minority student pursing a higher education in nursing a $1,000.00 scholarship.

Objective. To increase the number of under-represented minorities obtaining degrees in nursing. 

Eligibility. Any African-American, Hispanic American, or Native American U.S. citizen or permanent resident who is majoring or planning to major in nursing, and who is a high school senior, college freshman, or sophomore is eligible to apply for the scholarship.

How To Apply. The following must be emailed (with subject line: "Nursing Scholarship Applicant") to scholarships@medicalgoods.com: (1) a cover letter with your name, address, city, state, and name of institution of higher education that you are currently attending or will be attending (.doc file), (2) copy of official transcripts (PDF file), and (3) a 400-600 word essay (.doc file) answering the question: How has being a minority affected your pre-college education?

Deadline: May 31st, 2013 before 10 p.m. EST. 

The scholarship recipient will be selected and notified directly by June 30, 2013, and announced on this page.
